On Isometry Links between 4-Vectors of Velocity

چکیده
We give an overview on the problem of finding isometry as Lorentz transformation between given vectors of 4-velocity and its solutions. These Lorentz transformations are usually referenced as Lorentz links. We show that the links by boost, obtained independently by different authors in different forms, are identical. Finally, we discuss briefly some implications of the non-uniqueness of boost linking given pair of 4velocities. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification (2000): 22E43

The study of relation between existence of admissible vectors and amenability and compactness of a locally compact group
The existence of admissible vectors for a locally compact group is closely related to the group's profile. In the compact groups, according to Peter-weyl theorem, every irreducible representation has admissible vector. In this paper, the conditions under which the inverse of this case is being investigated has been investigated. Conditions such as views that are admissible and stable will get c...
متن کاملA Generalized Restricted Isometry Property
Compressive Sampling (CS) describes a method for reconstructing high-dimensional sparse signals from a small number of linear measurements. Fundamental to the success of CS is the existence of special measurement matrices which satisfy the so-called Restricted Isometry Property (RIP). In essence, a matrix satisfying RIP is such that the lengths of all sufficiently sparse vectors are approximate...
متن کاملSymmetries of the Stephani
Two classes of solutions for conformally at perfect uids exist depending on whether the uid expansion vanishes or not. The expanding solutions have become known as the Stephani universes and are generalisations of the well-known Friedmann-Robertson-Walker solutions; the solutions with zero expansion generalise the interior Schwarzschild solution. The isometry structure of the expansion-free sol...
متن کاملSparse Recovery Algorithms: Sufficient Conditions in terms of Restricted Isometry Constants
We review three recovery algorithms used in Compressive Sensing for the reconstruction s-sparse vectors x ∈ CN from the mere knowledge of linear measurements y = Ax ∈ Cm, m < N. For each of the algorithms, we derive improved conditions on the restricted isometry constants of the measurement matrix A that guarantee the success of the reconstruction. These conditions are δ2s < 0.4652 for basis pu...
متن کاملVelocity Modeling in a Vertical Transversely Isotropic Medium Using Zelt Method
In the present paper, the Zelt algorithm has been extended for ray tracing through an anisotropic model. In anisotropic media, the direction of the propagated energy generally differs from that of the plane-wave propagation. This makes velocity values to be varied in different directions. Therefore, velocity modeling in such media is completely different from that in an isotropic media. The vel...
